COAT RACKS AT HOME

In today's post we will talk about coat racks, essential items in our home, which we will use in several of our rooms, bedrooms, entrance or bathrooms.

The typical coat rack for garments and accessories can be found mainly in two types: stand coat rack and wall coat rack. Apart from being functional, because they help us to maintain order, they also decorate, since in the market we can find an endless number of models and colours, which will make each room a special place.

STANDING COAT RACKS

Standing racks are normally the most used, because unlike wall racks, they don't need any kind of installation and you will be able to change them according to your needs.

To place a stand coat rack you do not need much space, because they do not take up much and you can even find different sizes. Usually they are placed next to the entrance door, in the foyer or in the rooms according to the need of each one.

The entrance is a good place to place the stand coat racks, as we can leave the last or first garments that we put on or remove when entering and leaving home, such as jackets, coats, scarves, hats, umbrellas, etc.. When we have visitors it will also be good for us so that the guests leave their clothes there.

Standing coat racks usually have different distributions to place the different elements and thus will be more usable. The hooks at the top can be used for hats or clothes that do not hang and those at the bottom for jackets, scarves ... so they do not get in the way between the rest.

In stand coat rack sof the rooms we will hang what we usually use to have it always at hand and to avoid the disorder. It's a good way to have the most frequent clothes in sight and not to go crazy every morning.

Among the standing coat racks, there are the ladder type, not so practical but they are trend.  We will be able to hang from clothes to costume jewellery. This type of coat racks are also widely used in bathrooms as we can see in the photo.

WALL COAT RACKS

Wall coat racks are especially useful and we can place them where we do not have much space, for example, a narrow corridor, a small entrance or bedroom.

In the market you will find an endless number of models, which will give your home a touch of design and fun.

Inside the wall coat racks we can talk about the door hangers, very useful because you can use them wherever you have a door. Very appropriate in rooms and mainly in bathrooms which normally have less space and which will be a good option for placing towels.

FUNCTIONAL COAT RACKS

When we talk about functional coat racks we mean coat racks that have more than one function and are therefore multipurpose, like the ones we see in the photos. Before buying a functional coat rack we will have to think about where and for what elements we want it, because in the market there are endless options, with shelves, shoe racks, umbrella stands ...

This type of coat rack has to be robust because we will load it more and a good stability is indispensable.

They are a good option if we have a wide entrance, which is often wasted. In this way, we will be able to have daily clothes always at hand and also shoes, keys or anything that is necessary for us every morning.  The functional coat racks can be completed with wicker baskets (see image), which will give a natural touch that is so fashionable and a practical idea of storage.
